Week 5 of Anime Viewing

For this week, I’ll be watching 009 Re:Cyborg, which was meant to be my first podcast but after much thought and I have really been enjoying writing on my blog! I plan to keep animated stand alone films and movies of series for the blog. For the podcast, I’ll be watching anime series, five season episodes per podcast episode to keep from being worn out on anime when I have Friends to watch before Netflix loses access to them.

009 Re:Cyborg is a film about a group of humans transformed into cyborgs by a corporation who planned to use them to do harm but they chose to follow a different path. 009 Re:Cyborg was directed by Kenji Kamiyama and is based on an manga named Cyborg 009 by Shotaro Ishinomori. The film was released in 2012 and the events are set in 2013, we’ll see how this goes since it’s now 2019.
